Where we are

Bunyaville Conservation Park

The Bunyaville Environmental Education Centre (BEEC) is an Education Queensland facility situated in the dry forest of Bunyaville Conservation Park, Off Old Northern Road, Everton Hills, 15km north-west of the Brisbane G.P.O.

The environment around the Bunyaville Environmental Education Centre includes dry schlerophyll forest, dry vine rainforest and freshwater ponds along seasonally flowing creeks.

Your program may include a magic spot, exploring creeks, visiting a Parliament for Birds, the Environmental Education Centre and the many parts of the forest.

Catchments

Waterwatch and Catchment education programs are delivered at sites along Cabbage Tree Creek, Sandy Creek, Albany Creek, Pine Rivers and in other catchments. The programs are linked to the Managing Natural Resources (Geog) (Yr 10-12), Catchment Management (Geog-Biol) (Yr 11-12), or Catchment Connections (Yrs 5-9).
